If you remember LG introduced <strong>LG Optimus L9</strong> way back in late 2012, the device was a beast with crisp <strong>4.7&#8243; IPS</strong> display with a powerful <strong>2150 mAh SIO+ battery</strong>. For some unknown reason LG didn&#8217;t released the second instalment <strong>LG Optimus L9</strong> II in Indian soil. Now as a LG fan, we have both the Smartphones with us, thus we though it&#8217;s great to compare both of them.</p>
<div id="attachment_225" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9-2.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-225" src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9-2.jpg" alt="LG L90 Dual vs L9-2" width="600" height="338" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">LG L90 Dual vs Optimus L9</p></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>We will compare both LG Optimus L9 and LG L90 Dual in four separate ways:</strong></span></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>1) Design.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2) Hardware Specification.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>3) Software.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>4) Benchmarking via AnTuTu.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So let&#8217;s have a look how both the Smartphones are different from each other.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">1) Design:</h3>
<div id="attachment_224" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9-1.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-224" src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9-1.jpg" alt="LG L90 Dual vs L9" width="600" height="338" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">LG L90 Dual vs L9 &#8211; Design</p></div>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>a)</strong> LG Optimus L9 (P765) is the highest specs Smartphone of L Series I (2012) sporting a qHD (540 x 960 pixels), <strong>4.7&#8243; IPS LCD Display</strong> with (~234 ppi pixel density). whereas the <strong>LG L90 Dual (D410)</strong> having the exact similar spces in terms of screen size, screen resolution and ppi.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">What we will get extra in LG L90 Dual is the <strong>Corning Gorilla Glass II</strong> protection along with the latest Optimus UI support.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>b)</strong> As far as design is concerned, <strong>LG Optimus L9</strong> is <strong>131.9 x 68.2 x 9.1 mm</strong> in dimension where <strong>LG L90 Dual</strong> is <strong>131.6 x 66 x 9.7 mm</strong> &#8211; only 0.6 mm thick from the previous device.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>c)</strong> While L9 is carrying the true aesthetics of L Shape, LG has somehow change that with contour design with a curve with LG L90 Dual.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2) Hardware Specification:</strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>a)</strong> Where the Optimus L9 is a <strong>Single SIM</strong> device, LG L90 Dual is a <strong>Daul-3G</strong>-supported device.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>b)</strong> LG Optimus L9 ia having<strong> TI OMAP 4430 chip set</strong> under the hood with a <strong>1 GHz Dual Core Cortex A9 processor</strong>, for graphics support we are having the <strong>PowerVR SGX540 GPU</strong> along with it. On the other hand LG L90 Dual have <strong>Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400</strong> (same as Moto G and Samsung Galaxy Grand 2) along with<strong> Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU</strong> supported by<strong> Adreno 305</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>c)</strong> LG L90 Dual has <strong>8 GB of mass memory</strong>, twice as <strong>LG Optimus L9</strong> (only 4GB), both are having <strong>1GB of RAM</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>d)</strong> LG has placed improved <strong>8MP rear camera</strong> (along with Multiple-Auto-Focus) in <strong>LG L90 Dual</strong> from the <strong>5MP Single Auto-Focus rear shooter</strong> from <strong>Optimus L9</strong>. Both are capable of shooting 1080p (Full HD) videos.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>e)</strong> As far as battery is concerned, LG always try to give the highest possible capacity under the hood, with Optimus L9 we are having a 2150 mAh battery whereas with LG L90 Dual you will find a whopping 2540 mAh battery.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>3) Software:</strong></h3>
<div id="attachment_226" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9-3.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-226" src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9-3.jpg" alt="LG L90 Dual vs L9 -Software" width="600" height="338" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">LG L90 Dual vs L9 &#8211; Software</p></div>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>a)</strong> Under LG Optimus L9 you will get <strong>4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich)</strong> which is upgraded to<strong> 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean)</strong>, on the other hand with <strong> L90 Dual</strong> you will get <strong>KitKat (4.4.2) pre-loaded</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>b)</strong> LG continuously improving their Optimus UI (currently 3.0) and with LG L90 Dual a user will get features like <strong>Safety Care, Quick Memo Overlay, Guest Mode, Quick Remote</strong>, which as missing in the <strong>L Series I Smartphones</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>c)</strong> Along with LG&#8217;s revolutionary <strong>KNOCK code</strong> now a user can unlock the LG L90 Dual (all L Series III Smartphone and LG G Pro 2) with just few simple taps on the blank lock screen.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>4) Benchmarking via AnTuTu:</strong></h3>
<div id="attachment_223" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-223" src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/LG-L90-Dual-vs-L9.jpg" alt="LG L90 Dual vs L9 - AnTuTu Benchmark" width="600" height="338" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">LG L90 Dual vs L9 &#8211; AnTuTu Benchmark</p></div>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We have tested both the Smartphone on AnTuTu and very soon we will publish the video of it. For the time being, here is the result of the both Smartphone&#8217;s on AnTuTu.</p>
