South Korean Smartphone giants LG and Samsung are all set for yet another face off. After Samsung’s initial success with their latest flagship Galaxy S5, the sale is continuously dipping as both HTC and SONY introduced the flagships at the same time. To give them even more detriment last month LG introduced world’s first branded QHD display Smartphone (apart from the couple of Chinese manufacturers) LG G3. News just came in that Samsung also going to counter attack LG with their rumored Galaxy F with QHD Super AMOLED display with Snapdragon 805 SoC, which is sadly missing in LG G3. But the latest news just came in to us that LG is going to launch yet another variant of LG G3 with Snapdragon 805 SoC with 3GB RAM this July. Could this be LG G3 Prime?

The chances are high that LG introduce their latest flagship LG G3 here in India later this month to give Samsung, HTC and SONY’s current flagships a big jolt. Earlier we came to know from an LG (India) insider that LG will set price the LG G3 at around Rs.45,000-48,000 to snatch as mush as customers possible. Last night we also reported that LG slashes the price of their LG G Pro 2 by Rs. 6000 ($100) to make a clear path for LG G3.

Few recent leaks suggest the new LG F460L will pack snapdragon 805 chipset. Phonearena and Naver also reported that LG will release an upgraded version of the G3 with a Snapdragon 805 processor in July.

Today, mylgphones have got an image from their tipster. As you can see from below image, The code name of the F460L is Tiger which match the early rumors from eyeonmobility. The APQ8084 entry suggest that the LG F460L will pack snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) chipset. It means that the LG F460 will have a quad core Krait 450 CPU,Adreno 420 GPU,LP-DDR3 memory and Gobi™ True 4G LTE (MDM9635) Modem. Rest of the specs are unchanged from the existing LG G3.

Naver also reported that the new LG G3 models will have Qualcomm MDM9635 modem inside, that takes advantage of up to 225 Mbps download speeds. Which is as much as 3 times faster than the current speed. Both LG U+ and SK Telecom has successfully tested category 6 LTE which is around 300Mbps of downlink speed.

If the rumors are true this not only hurt the sales of Samsung Galaxy S5, but also upcoming Galaxy F with QHD resolution with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. Even we are wondering if LG strategically priced it, it might kill the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (with QHD resolution also) too.

Most of the things are unclear and speculated, so nothing official yet, so stay with us for more updates.
