Whereas LG introduced couple of mid-range Smartphones – LG L Bello and LG L Fino along with LG G3 Stylus for the sub 20,000 segment. But hey! let’s not forget the greater Indian audiences; still people are looking for a Smartphone below Rs. 8,ooo with large screen and local players such as Lava, Micromax and Karbonn are having a strong foothold in this segment. With LG L60 and L60i LG is not only tapping into that segment, but also going to increase their market share here in India.

LG L60i

Earlier this month LG introduces a new low end model called LG L60i which is a variant of last month’s launch L60. The LG L60i much like L60 sports a 4.3″ TFT capacitive touchscreen along with latest version of Android KitKat. If you are looking for Android One devices, we are happy to say that this device comes with Stock Android.

Other notable features includes, 1.3GHz Dual Core Processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP with LED Flash, VGA front Camera, 4GB ROM, expandable option up to 32GB via Micro SD card and a powerful 1700mAh battery.

LG also include couple of features from their Optimus UI – Guest Mode and KnockON. Rest of the UI of LG L60i is stock android. Which means you can download your favorite File Manager, Document reader, your can even get an optional messaging client – Messaging apart from Hangout.

The only notable change of L60i than its sibling L60 is it’s a 2G only device. Many of you may raise your eyebrows that in the time of 4G LTE what’s the point of launching a 2G only device, well we belive this is a great idea by LG as most of the Indian small towns and cities doesn’t have even 3G, so by launching a 2G only device, companies can keep their cost down.

Currently the device is available in most Indian cities in Black Black and Black Blue colors. You can check your nearest retailers for LG L60i for an approx price tag of Rs. 6,500.
