LG L90 Dual receives Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update via OTA
If you are one of the LG L90 Dual (Unboxing Video) users here in India, we have a very good news for you. On March 17th-2015, LG Mobile India has started rolling out Lollipop to their first ever L Series III Smartphone LG L90 Dual (D410). It not only brings many changes to the User Interface (UI) but also improves security changes. Since it launched way back in March 2014 it runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2, so LG is skipping any other Firmware update in-between and straight gives you the Android 5.0 update.

The update version V20a-MAR-01-2015 weighs 780MB in size which turns your LG L90 Dual into a Lollipop device after the update. You need to follow the steps below to successfully upgrade the device.

First, try to upgrade it on Wi-Fi rather than cellular data.
Second, Make sure you device has at least 50% of charge, during downloading the package and installing if the charge of the phone runs out, it might brick the device.
Third, Even though OTA updates won’t erase any data stored on the device, still back up the internal memory to safeguard your important data.
Fourth, The size of the update is 780 MB, so make sure your Wi-Fi or cellular data has that much data left, else you won’t be able to successfully upgrade the device.

Note: If your LG L90 Dual is not already up to dated with latest firmware package, you may need additional data to upgrade those first before you eventually see the 780 MB Lollipop update notification on your device.
