LG’s mid-range LG F70 with 4G LTE is all set to hit the Indian stores

It looks like that LG is finally focusing on their Smartphone (read Mobile) business seriously here in India. After the latest mid-range trio launch along with the Phablet beast LG G Pro 2, the company is all set to give the Indian budget Smartphone consumers the taste of 4G LTE with LG F70. The Smartphone announced the Smartphone last February in Barcelona during the MWC 2014 event. Earlier this month we got the news from one of our tipster that LG is going to release the LG F70 here in India later this month and earlier today LG’s official Indian portal has listed the Smartphone.

The latest mid-range offering from LG comes with a 4.5-inch (800 x 400 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS. Much like the L Series III, it’s not a Dual-SIM device, so it’s a good news for those who are looking for a Single -SIM device.

We will see a 5MP rear camera with a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter with MultiPoint Auto Focus option. The LG F70 comes packed with a 4GB mass memory which can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD. The handset measures 127.5 x 66.4 x 9.95 mm and weigh and 129.6 also features a wide range of connectivity options like LTE/ 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC support.
The biggest concern of a consumer is the battery life, LG takes care of it with a powerful battery of 2,440 mAh. Moreover, to stress on few things, this is the company’s first mid-range smartphone with 4G LTE support. It comes with tri-band LTE connectivity, including the 2300 MHz LTE (Band 40). this one also features LG’s proprietary features like KnockCode, Guest Mode, Quick Window, Plug & Pop, Quick Slide, Quick Memo to name a few.

If you want to taste the best of 4G LTE without spending a heavy bag of cash, this is your best option till now! If we are not wrong, LG is going to join Bharati Airtel to launch the product in the Indian Market. The price LG listed on their official website is Indian Rs. 19,500 which is approx US $ 325. We are expecting to get below Indian Rs. 18000 as the retail price.
